Now that summer looks like it's finally here, I find smoothies are a great way to start the day. They are so quick and easy to make, especially if you are wanting food on the go. I got a Nutri Bullet for Christmas and its been the best present ever to make my smoothies and juices. Sometimes I find I can get bloated and uncomfortable with some breakfasts, so I find these are great after a work out (as well as refreshing!) and keep me going right up until lunchtime. Using frozen fruit is the best way to get a really cold and thick texture without having to add ice, but is also a much cheaper option than buying fresh fruit. You will still get all of the goodness from the frozen fruit as you would fresh, I just find it more convenient. In this smoothie I loaded my Nutri Bullet with a handful of frozen mango, a handful of black forest fruits and blueberries, a tablespoon of 0% fat Greek yoghurt, then filled to the max with water and blended till smooth!
